C-YA SPECTER....DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON THE WAY OUT
Sen. Arlen Specter of PA made, what every conservative already knew, it official on Tuesday April 28, 2009....he's a Democrat. Shocker!
Seriously, was anyone surprised by this announcement? It's about time he left the Republican Party and joined the Democrat Party. The libs are all excited because they are so close to that 60 seat Senate, fillibuster-proof, majority. You dingbats didn't realize you already had that with Specter anyway.
The move was made not because of some ideological awakening. It was made because he knew he would lose his next primary and he admitted as much. "I am not prepared to have my 29-year record in the United States Senate decided by the Pennsylvania Republican primary electorate."
So personally, I think this is great news! This fool is out of the Republican Party. A conservative will hopefully take his spot come November 2010. And Specter will be nothing but a footnote in history or possibly the answer to some future useless trivia question.
I have just one favor to ask Sen. Specter. Can you please convince some of the other RINOs to go with you.......pssst Sen. Collins, Sen Snowe, Sen. Graham......I'm talking about you. And believe me.....several others as well.
So later Specter. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
