MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE RAISING MONEY FOR CHILDREN'S CANCER RESEARCH
Hey everyone. It's that time of year again. Only this year, my daughter is the one involved in raising money for St. Baldricks. She will be cutting 10 inches of her hair off which will be donated to Beautiful Lengths and I will be shaving my head again. The event will take place on March 30th, but you can begin donating now! The money we raise will be donated to an organization known as St. Baldricks. They are involved in children's cancer research.
I understand the economy is down and people are struggling. If you have even an extra $5 to donate, it would be greatly appreciated and it's for an extremely good cause. Of course, if you can afford to donate more, that would be awesome! And if you can't afford to make a donation, perhaps you could share the link with your family and friends. As many of you who have known me online for a few years, my mother died from cancer a few years back. I couldn't imagine a child going through what she went through. This is our way to help prevent that. And as a conservative, I believe it is up to us, not the government, to fund such important research.
Remember....even the smallest donation will help.
And PLEASE.....pass this on to your family, friends and co-workers. Last year my son and I raised $1930.00. My daughter is hoping to beat that amount.
