SAXBY WINS
Sen. Saxby Chambliss of Georgia won the run-off election that was held yesterday in Georgia thus officially eliminating the chance of the Democrats winning 60 seats in the Senate which in effect would have given them a super-majority. Many pundits are saying that the Democrats do not have a filibuster proof Senate now. I am not so sure about that. The Republicans have a few RINOs in the Senate that seem to vote more often with the Democrats than with the Republicans, so I maintain that the Democrats still, at least at times, will have a fillibuster proof Senate.
